Green Monster and Treadmill workout


Today I woke up and headed over to the gym. I wasn't too hungry, so I just had some toast with jelly and got ready.

It was raining out so I couldnt go for a run outside. Instead I decided to do an interval run, that was pretty hard. It was 45mins of varying speeds and inclines. It really was challenging. The first time I did it, I could only make it 30mins.

When I got home, I took a shower and made a "green monster" for breakfast. TO give you some background, green monster is a vegan smoothie that is loaded with tons of vitamins, nutrients, protein, and healthy fat. It is a combination of fruits, veggies, soy milk, and peanut butter.

In mine today I added 1 frozen banana, a cup of silk, 1 cup of strawberrys, 2cups of spinach, and a tbsp of peanut butter.

I honestly thought that people were lying when they said you cant taste the spinach, but its true. It adds body to the smoothie but essentially no flavor. This tasted like a banana, strawberry smoothie, with hints of peanut butter. Yum.

Today I'm starting 30days of shredding...more on this later!
