SEED

Tomorrow my movers are coming to bring all of my furniture, clothes and anything that I can live with out for two weeks back to NYC. I honestly can't believe that it has come to this point, and it feels similar to when I was going to college for the first time. I'm excited but also really sad. Its funny how an unfamiliar city transformed into my home. I really will miss passing the lake & Navy Pier on the way back to my apartment (I always fly into Midway), and feeling a sense of comfort.

On Sunday, while attempting to conquer the Sunday Blues, I perused through Women's Health and soaked up some of the great advice.

I only recently started reading Women's Health, and I really do love it. They have great tips on healthy living, that are actually new found (unlike Self & Shape Magazine), awesome articles and in depth interviews with tons of interesting people. Not just actors.

One peice that spoke to me, was their advice of what to do when you lose your job.

For anyone whose lost a job recently, it gives a day to month to year game plan of getting one back on the right track and is definitely worth checking out. Even though I didn't lose my job, I took away some of the advice that speaks to anyone whose about to go through a major life change. Their #1 thing was SEED.

Sleep

Eat

Exercise

& Drink (Lots of water)

As my schedule goes from 0 (sitting at home and taking 2 online courses) to sixty (juggling school and a full time job in a new city) these are things that I need to keep in mind.

Simple & basic, but something that will hopefully help to make the transition a bit smoother.
